February 6, 2007, TREB Market Watch -- The Toronto Real Estate Board, which Newmarket is part of, states that January 2007 was the best January Ever! Altogether in January there were a total of 72 sales with an average price of $323,961 in Newmarket. Detached homes had 47 sales with an average price of $360,149, semi-detached homes had 10 sales with an average price of $270,550, condo apartments had a total of two sales with an average price of $182,000, condo townhomes had one sale with a price of $206,777, and attached townhomes had 12 sales with an average price of $260,158.
